Urban
“The city, however, does not tell its past, but contains it like the lines of a hand, written in the corners of the streets, the gratings of the windows, the banisters of the steps…”
— Italo Calvino, Invisible Cities
I no longer live in a city, but I was raised by one and I still feel called to explore them whenever possible. When photographing urban spaces, I am drawn to shapes and textures; to the interplay of light and shadow; and to the unpredictable, imperfect human elements which give each city its own unique character.
I am available to hire for commercial travel photography. If you represent a tourist board or similar organisation and would like to discuss working with me, please get in touch!
