Landscapes

“Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine. // Meanwhile the world goes on. // Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain // are moving across the landscapes, // over the prairies and the deep trees, // the mountains and the rivers.”

— Mary Oliver, Wild Geese

My style of photography often focuses on details—raindrops on a flower petal, an ornate doorhandle, a painter’s hands— but there is something grounding about taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture. I love observing how light illuminates or obscures the contours of a landscape, and I am especially drawn to photograph places where boundaries become blurred between land and sea and sky.

I am available to hire for commercial travel photography. If you represent a tourist board or similar organisation and would like to discuss working with me, please get in touch!
